Apple TV’s slate of upcoming original series has been on the rise as of late, with this year seeing the return of favorites like The Last Thing He Told Me, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Your Friends and Neighbors, and For All Mankind just around the corner. From dramas to sci-fi, the streamer has it all, and soon, it will add yet another intriguing and nail-biting project to its roster with the addition of Imperfect Women. Starring Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, and Kate Mara, the gripping story of a group’s messy friendship is slated for a two-episode premiere on March 18. With the pages of Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name filling out the foundation for the twisty-turny tale, the show promises to be just like a good book that you just can’t put down, with weekly installments rolling out through April 29.
With just one month to go until the show’s arrival, Apple TV has dropped a brand-new trailer and a few new stills that puts the action right in front of us and better fill out what viewers can expect. In addition to the women at the center of the story, the psychological thriller will also feature an ensemble cast that includes the talents of Corey Stoll (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), Joel Kinnaman (Silent Night), Sandrine Holt (The Shrouds), Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie), Rome Flynn (Godfather of Harlem), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Leslie Odom Jr. (The Exorcist: Believer), Sherri Saum (The Fosters) and Keith Carradine (The Big Bang Theory).
‘Imperfect Women’s Latest Trailer Lays the Show’s Groundwork
All lines point directly to a grisly murder in our latest look at Imperfect Women. The trailer introduces us to an incredibly tight-knit group of friends — Mary (Moss), Eleanor (Washington), and Nancy (Mara) — who would each do anything for one another. But after their declarations of lasting friendships play out, a much darker side is on display as we learn about a homicide that has just taken place and has claimed the life of one of their own. Breaking the difficult news to Nancy’s husband, Robert (Kinnaman), that his wife has passed away, the police quickly begin interrogating those closest to the deceased, including her two besties. What unfolds next is a web of lies, deceit, and a cheating scandal, with many of the secrets holding the potential to unfold in a brutal and sadistic murder.
