‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’ Trailer Teases the Big Reunion!! Check It Out!!

Get ready for some sights you’re used to seeing and some others that may shock you in a brand-new trailer for Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair. It’s been nearly two decades since Malcolm in the Middle bowed out following a wildly successful seven-season run and fans are beyond ready to dive back in with the complicated family at the center of the story. In fact, it’s a reunion we’ve been actively pushing for over the last 20 years. Despite members of the cast moving on and taking over the industry in very different roles (we’re looking at you, Bryan Cranston), there’s always been a big empty spot in our hearts that can only be filled by the dysfunctional dynamics of the Wilkerson household.

After learning that flagship creator Linwood Boomer would be returning to front the revival for Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, our excitement only continued to mount. From there, it was revealed that numerous members of the original cast would be back to reprise their roles with the announcement of Cranston, Frankie Muniz, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Masterson, Emy Coligado and Justin Berfield’s involvement. And, while Erik Per Sullivan may not be stepping back into the role of Dewey, we’ve got extremely high hopes for Caleb Ellsworth-Clark to take over the character. Essentially, the Malcolm revival has all the makings of a sure-fire hit that could potentially go beyond its initial four-episode order.

‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’ Trailer Takes the Series Back to Its Roots

Today, the team has unveiled a brand-new trailer that paints a better picture of the madness that will break out when all four parts of the series arrive on April 10. Taking fans back to a place we’re all too familiar with, the opening seconds of the teaser show Lois (Kaczmarek) giving Hal (Cranston) a good old-fashioned full body shave while chatting on a video call with their son, Dewey (Ellsworth-Clark). The opening sequence sets the tone for the revival before the trailer fully delves into the plot. Now living his best life far away from his loved ones, Malcolm (Muniz) is not only in a happy and healthy romantic relationship, but he also has a daughter of his own. However, after his family discovers they’ve been ostracized from Malcolm’s life, they come back in full swing in hopes of winning over his girlfriend and getting closer to his daughter in an attempt to bring the whole family back together again.

Check out the fresh trailer above and tune in for all four episodes of Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair on April 10.
