‘Left Right Centre’: Junaid Khan & Himesh Reshammiya Reportedly Teaming Up for Comedy On Superstardom & Paparazzi!!

Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan joining forces with Himesh Reshammiya was not on Bollywood’s most predictable casting list, which is exactly why Left Right Centre instantly grabs attention. The new comedy pairs the two actors in a story built around a face-off between a superstar and the paparazzi, tapping into the frenzy, performance, and absurdity that now define modern celebrity life.

For Junaid, the film marks another sharp turn in an early career that is already moving across genres. For Himesh, it offers a setup that plays directly into his flair for heightened screen presence. Together, they give Left Right Centre a contrast-driven energy that could become its biggest draw.

A Paparazzi Battle Sets Up Left Right Centre

Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Left Right Centre is written by Jessey Lever, son of legendary comedian Johnny Lever. The film is being produced by Kookie Gulati and directed by Chirag. Its central conflict revolves around a battle between a superstar played by Himesh Reshammiya and the paparazzi played by Junaid Khan, giving the comedy a sharply contemporary hook.

Casting of interesting female leads are underway.

The film’s premise places it in a recognisable Bollywood space, where fame is no longer shaped only by films but also by the cameras chasing every public move. That setup gives the makers room for situational comedy while also building the story around a conflict audiences instantly understand.

So far, the confirmed details include its lead cast, writer, producer, director, and the broad comic premise. No release date has been announced yet.

Junaid Khan And Himesh Reshammiya’s Recent And Upcoming Work

For Junaid Khan, Left Right Centre arrives as another deliberate shift in screen image. He made his acting debut with Maharaj in 2024, which released on Netflix. Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharvari, the period drama introduced him through a performance-led role rather than a conventional commercial launch.

He followed that with Loveyapa, which released in theatres in 2025 opposite Khushi Kapoor. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film moved him into a youthful, contemporary space and showed a willingness to avoid repetition early in his career. He also has Ek Din with Sai Pallavi among his confirmed upcoming films, keeping his lineup varied across genres. He also signed Ragini 3 opposite Tammanah Bhatia.

That makes his pairing with Himesh Reshammiya especially interesting. Himesh’s acting choices have long leaned into scale, swagger, and a knowingly amplified screen persona. In that sense, Left Right Centre looks like a natural fit for him, even as it gives Junaid a more overtly mainstream comic setup.

Himesh was last seen in Badass Ravi Kumar, which released in theatres in 2025 and extended the flamboyant, self-aware energy associated with his on-screen outings. Placing him in a film about celebrity glare and media intrusion feels like a smart match of actor and material. For Junaid, the collaboration adds a distinctly commercial dimension to his growing filmography. For Himesh, it continues a screen space that thrives on spectacle, personality, and broad audience appeal.
