‘Myron Bolitar’: Netflix Orders Series Based on Harlan Coben’s Books!!

Harlan Coben is one of the most popular names in the world when it comes to the classic crime thriller. Coben has written several books that have been turned into hit shows on some of the biggest streaming services in the world, like Netflix, Paramount Plus, and even Prime Video. It’s been a relatively quiet year for Coben in 2026 so far, though, with his only scripted project being Run Away. All episodes of the thriller show debuted on Netflix on New Year’s Day, and while it was going up against the Stranger Things series finale, it still held its own and managed to put up a respectable fight near the top of streaming charts. Coben also recently worked with Peaky Blinders star Sam Claflin and Bill Nighy for Lazarus, the hit series just waiting to be binged on Prime Video.

Things are set to heat up soon for Harlan Coben, though, as he’ll return in just over a month for a new Netflix thriller series, I Will Find You. Late last week, Netflix previewed the first official trailer for I Will Find You (co-starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower), also confirming that the show will launch worldwide on June 18. Netflix must be pleased with Coben’s work on the upcoming mystery series, as news broke this afternoon that the streamer has renewed its overall deal with Coben, meaning more of his shows will certainly be coming to the platform over the next few years. This also comes at the same time that Netflix has given the green light to another Harlan Coben-inspired series, Myron Bolitar, to officially move forward. David E. Kelley is writing and show-running along with Kyle Long.

What Else is Streaming on Netflix Right Now?

The most popular TV show on Netflix right now is Man on Fire, the remake of the 2004 Denzel Washington movie of the same name. The Netflix show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and after scoring 11 million views during its first week on the platform, the show racked up an additional 12.6 million during its second week. The biggest movie on Netflix is the animated film Swapped, starring Michael B. Jordan, which handily disposed of Apex (starring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton) to reach #1. Netflix subscribers around the world are also enjoying Gladiator II, the legacy sequel directed by Ridley Scott.
