Taylor Sheridan‘s playground is starting to get very muddied waters as another of his actors is crossing the stream(ing platform) to another of his shows. They’re starting to feel more like a giant criminal ecosystem at the moment, what with all the ranching and oil deals and drug dealing and towns that are actually prisons.
Richie Stephens, who appeared in Mayor of Kingstown, has officially joined the cast of Tulsa King Season 4. Details about his role are currently being kept under wraps, but he’s become the latest actor to find himself cast in more than one Sheridan project. The king of that is James Jordan, who’s appeared in Yellowstone as Steve Hendon, Mayor of Kingstown as Ed Simmons, 1883 as Cookie, Wind River as Pete Mickens, Those Who Wish Me Dead as Ben, and Landman as Dale Bradley. Basically he’s Sheridan‘s lucky charm at this point.
Dawn Olivieri appeared as Claire Dutton in 1883 and later turned up in Yellowstone as Sarah Atwood, which is funny because they could have just made out she was a distant ancestor. Other actors to pull double or triple duty include LaMonica Garrett, Michael Nouri, Forrie J. Smith, Gil Birmingham and Brett Cullen. The current most famous example is Landman’s breakout star Michelle Randolph, who played Elizabeth Strafford in 1923.
