‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day ‘: New TV Spot Sees the Villainous Ramrod in Action!! Check It Out!!

A new Spider-Man: Brand New Day clip has teased another threat waiting for Peter Parker. The clip briefly showcases Ramrod and mirrors a comic-inspired encounter.

The upcoming Marvel movie continues to reveal pieces of its expanding rogues’ gallery. Although the scene lasts only a second, fans have already begun discussing the appearance of one of Spider-Man’s more brutal enemies.

First look at Ramrod revealed in Spider-Man: Brand New Day TV spot

Fresh footage from Spider-Man: Brand New Day offers a quick but notable glimpse at Ramrod. The scene shows the villain charging directly toward Spider-Man, only for Peter Parker to dodge at the last second, bringing a well-known comic book scene to life.

Reports circulating online claim Billy Clements may be playing the character, though Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed the casting. Because the footage is so brief, many details about Ramrod’s role remain under wraps.

In Marvel comics, Ramrod is more of a smash-first, ask-questions-later kind of villain. He prefers brute force over elaborate plans, and his hot-headed nature constantly puts him on Spider-Man’s radar. Over the years, he’s developed a grudge against Peter Parker after one defeat too many and all the times the wall-crawler ruined his criminal plans. However, if the movie follows a different path, this could actually be the first time the two are squaring off.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home erased the world’s memory of him. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also set to return, while Jon Bernthal has joined the cast as Frank Castle, better known as the Punisher. Sadie Sink and Mark Ruffalo have also been confirmed for the movie.

The film is scheduled to arrive on July 31. Plot details remain largely secret, but the story is expected to follow Peter as he adjusts to his new life while facing several dangerous enemies. The trailer also hints that something is going wrong inside him. As his DNA begins to mutate, Peter starts going through physical and mental changes, leaving him at war with himself as much as the villains around him.
