2026 has been a big year for Marvel TV fans, but things are preparing to heat up on the big screen with the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tom Holland officially returns to lead his fourth solo Spider-Man outing in the MCU, but now that everyone has forgotten who Peter Parker is — courtesy of Doctor Strange’s spell in Spider-Man: No Way Home — New York’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will have to face all his new challenges alone. Marvel has also recruited Mark Ruffalo and Jon Bernthal to star as Bruce Banner and Frank Castle opposite Holland in the film, but the status of all three stars for Avengers: Doomsday is still being kept under wraps. The first Avengers movie since 2019 is coming to theaters later this year on December 18, but details about the film are being held close to the vest.
One of the most exciting Marvel projects of the year has been the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. Born Again Season 2 also brought back Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones and Mike Colter’s Luke Cage, and set images have already confirmed the return of Finn Jones’ Iron Fist in Season 3, which is now shooting. New set images broke last night revealing the return of another Netflix Daredevil veteran, Elodie Yung’s Elektra, who has now been officially confirmed for a role in Season 3. It’s clear now that Marvel is assembling its own Defenders team to protect the streets of New York, and there’s no telling what other surprises will be in store when Daredevil: Born Again hits the small screen.
When Does ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 Come Out?
Marvel has yet to set an official return date for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, but at this point it would be surprising if it did not premiere in the same March/April window next year that Seasons 1 and 2 did in 2025 and 2026. Marvel is clearly committed to delivering new seasons of Daredevil: Born Again on a weekly basis, and as the show continues to get more popular, it only makes sense for the studio to pour more resources into it. Dario Scardapane will continue to write and showrun Daredevil: Born Again into Season 3.
