The world of Reacher had been contained to one person for nearly thirty years under the pen of Lee Child, but since Jack Reacher himself migrated to the small screen, the world has suddenly gotten a lot bigger. And what does that mean? The 110th Special Investigations Unit is getting to put their skills to use, even when Major Reacher isn’t around to help them. And from the looks of it, this offshoot is going to hit all the right notes.

The series stars Maria Sten (Swamp Thing) as Frances Neagley alongside Greyston Holt (Durham County) as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph (Hellboy: The Crooked Man) as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones (King Ivory) as Keno, Matthew Del Negro (Mayor of Kingstown) as Pierce Woodrow, Damon Herriman (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as Lawrence Cole and Alan Ritchson (Fast X) as Jack Reacher. Prime Video confirmed that all eight episodes of Neagley will premiere on September 16, 2026, exclusively on the streaming service in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The release comes just one week after the conclusion of Reacher Season 4.

Neagley is a private investigator in Chicago and a former military protégé of Jack Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit, but when she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110th Special Investigations Unit, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.

What Can We Expect from ‘Neagley’?

Sten, speaking to Entertainment Weekly recently, said that it was a hugely exciting but pressured opportunity to lead her own series following the success of Reacher, adding that we’d find out a lot more about where she comes from. “The success of Reacher has been really astounding,” she said. “It’s very exciting to be given this opportunity, but of course there’s also a lot of pressure… to carry on the legacy in a way that pays homage to Reacher and of course also to the books that Lee Child created. […] A huge part of the show is about trauma. As Neagley is investigating the mystery behind what happened to her friend, she’s also discovering what really happened to her in her past.”

All eight episodes of Neagley arrive on Prime Video on September 16.
