Apple TV clearly knows this and, as the King of Prestige Television these days, a star-studded heist thriller featuring an Avenger and the next King of Gondor is something that has us sitting on the edge of our seats.
Apple TV has officially unveiled the first look at 12 12 12, its new eight-episode heist drama starring and executive produced by Anthony Mackie (Captain America: Brave New World) and Jamie Dornan (Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum). The series will premiere globally on November 13, 2026, with its first two episodes arriving together. After that, 12 12 12 will switch to a weekly release schedule, with one new episode every Friday through its December 25 finale.
All of it revolves around a stunning raid on a bank vault beneath the streets of Zurich, Switzerland. The show’s title is also a nod to how each episode unfolds across three separate timelines surrounding the heist: the previous year planning it, the 12 hours in which it takes place, and the 12 days of the aftermath.
What Is Apple TV’s ‘12 12 12’ About?
The series follows a disgraced FBI agent (Mackie) and an American career criminal (Dornan) who play a zero-sum game of cat and mouse across Europe. At the center of it all is the daring, epic raid on a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich. Alongside Mackie and Dornan, 12 12 12 stars Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2), Agathe Rousselle (Titane), Sallie Harmsen (Blade Runner 2049), José Garcia (Now You See Me) and Kali Reis (True Detective: Night Country).
The series was created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, who also serve as executive producers. Emmy-nominated and BAFTA-winning filmmaker Kari Skogland (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and executive produces.
12 12 12 premieres globally on Apple TV on November 13, 2026 with a two-episode premiere, and weekly episodes will follow through to the stunning conclusion on December 25.
