But no film can come close to the success of Focus Features‘ Obsession, director Curry Barker‘s breakout masterpiece that turned a sub-million-dollar budget into almost $500 million, breaking numerous records in the process.

On July 30, 2027, John Krasinski is stepping back behind the camera for the third and final film in the horror trilogy A Quiet Place. Filming on A Quiet Place: Part III began back in May, two years after Michael Sarnoski successfully delivered the prequel, A Quiet Place: Day One.

It has now been confirmed that filming on A Quiet Place: Part III has officially come to an end, and fans can expect a “big and bold” final installment, according to returning star Noah Jupe, who reprises his role as Marcus Abbott from the first two films. In a new interview with Radio Times, Jupe said, “I mean, this is the third. This is the trilogy. This is the one,” adding, “I think it pretty well bookends the series. It’s big and it’s bold!” Jupe also spoke about returning to a franchise he first starred in at just 12-years-old, saying, “It was good to be back. I love that crew. They’re a great group of people.”

Who Else Stars in ‘A Quiet Place: Part III’?

Emily Blunt is set to return on-screen for A Quiet Place: Part III, alongside the aforementioned Jupe, Millicent Simmonds, and Cillian Murphy as the Abbotts’ family friend, Emmett. Sinners and 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple villain Jack O’Connell adds to his acclaimed recent horror run as one of several new faces in the franchise, including Katy O’Brien and Jason Clarke.

A Quiet Place: Part III is set to hit theaters on July 30, 2027.
