The latest Tip Toe trailer is now out. The new queer thriller TV show features X-Men star Alan Cumming alongside other renowned names.
According to a new update from STARZ, Tip Toe will be available for streaming on the STARZ app and all its streaming platforms from October 2, 2026. The plot is centered around Clive and Leo, who have been neighbours in Manchester for 15 years. Leo has a bar while Clive works as an electrician. As the duo looks to settle down with their lives, radicalized opinions and uncomfortable words turn the neighbours into deadly enemies.
STARZ has described Tip Toe as a “darkly witty, yet harrowing and explosive thriller that explores the most corrosive forces facing the LGBTQ+ community today. It recently premiered in the U.K. to critical acclaim and unanimous praise for its performances and storytelling.”

What do we see in the Tip Toe trailer?
The Tip Toe trailer opens with Leo and Clive. Cumming, portraying Leo, runs a gay bar on Canal Street. The one-minute-and-24-second video then focuses on how a feud develops between the two neighbours. The dispute begins as a minor disagreement but soon leads to social tension. Directed by Peter Hoar, Tip Toe preview hints at how the series delves into prejudices around the LGBTQ+ community in modern society.
While Cumming plays Leo, David Morrissey plays Clive. The cast of Tip Toe also features Pooky Quesnel as Clive’s wife, Marie, Jackson Connor as Clive’s youngest son, George, Joseph Evans as George’s older brother, Saul, Elizabeth Berrington as Leo’s best friend, Stephanie, Iz Hesketh as Zee, and Shakeel Kimotho as Hanna, who both work at Spit & Polish; Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as the bar’s manager, Judy; Paul Rhys as Melba, a Canal Street fixture, Charlie Condou as Leo’s ex-husband, Curtis, and Denise Welch as Diane.
The dark comedy is produced by Phil Collinson. Quay Street Productions and its CEO Nicola Shindler are contributing as key producers behind the series. Russell T Davies, Peter Hoar and Alan Cumming are executive producers for Tip Toe. Andy Pryor is the casting director. The show is being made in association with ITV Studios, which will also distribute the project.
