The latest trailer for American Horror Story 13 has teased a haunting mix of Coven, Murder House, Freak Show, and more. The next chapter in FX‘s long-running series will bring back many familiar faces.
An official description for AHS 13 reads, “Bringing together an all-star cast, many of whom are reprising fan-favorite roles, AHS: 13 continues to build on the anthology’s decades-long legacy that has been streamed more than 700 million hours across the globe and spawned a legion of dedicated fans.”

The new trailer brings familiar faces and fan-favorite characters together
American Horror Story 13 teaser trailer opens with series icon Jessica Lange, marking her return as various characters from past seasons. She was last seen in 2018’s Apocalypse.
“It’s good to be back, isn’t it?” says Constance Langdon, the character in Lange’s Murder House. Her other character, Fiona Goode, from Coven, says, “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome at last. We are all assembled for this special occasion.”
Lange will be seen playing four of her former characters from the previous seasons, including Freak Show’s Elsa Mars. She teases the next chapter as the “celebration of miscreants, murderous demons, and profanity.”
Evan Peters is also returning as Tate Langdon, first appearing in the 2011 first season.
AHS 13 trailer confirms other returning members as well, including Emma Roberts as Coven’s Madison Montgomery, Kathy Bates as Coven’s Delphine LaLaurie, Billie Lourd as Apocalypse’s Mallory and Cult’s Winter Anderson, Gabourey Sibide as Coven’s Queenie, Leslie Grossman as Apocalypse’s Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt, John Carroll Lynch as Freak Show’s Twisty the Clown, and Zach Villa as 1984’s Richard Ramirez.
The ensemble cast also features Mena Suvari as Murder House’s Elizabeth Short, Mat Fraser as Freak Show’s Paul, Frances Conroy as Coven’s Myrtle Snow, Seth Gabel as Hotel’s Jeffrey Dahmer, and more.
Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story 13 will premiere on FX on September 24, 2026.
