Three renowned actors have joined the Far Cry TV adaptation. They will be joining Brendan Gleeson and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
According to an update from Variety, Jamie Demetriou, Sam Spruell, and Hamish Linklater will be featuring in Season 1 of FX’s Far Cry TV series, based on the video game of the same name. Speaking of the star-studded additions, Linklater is known for Midnight Mass, Widow’s Bay, and more. The 50-year-old is represented by Untitled Entertainment, Gersh and Johnson, Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
Spruell was recently featured in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, where his performance earned him significant praise. The British actor is also known for Alien: Earth on FX and is represented by Lou Coulson Associates and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
Demetriou’s notable credits include The Afterparty, Stath Let’s Flats, and more. The 38-year-old English comedian is represented by United Agents, CAA, and Multitude Media.

Before signing on for Far Cry, Gleeson had already been associated with several notable projects. The Irish actor starred in Troy, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, The Guard, and Spider-Noir. He also appeared in Mr. Mercedes. However, the 71-year-old actor received significant praise for his work in In Bruges and The Banshees of Inisherin. He is represented by CAA and Principal Entertainment.
Jennifer Jason Leigh has some notable credits as well. The 64-year-old featured in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Single White Female, Backdraft, The Machinist, and Something Very Bad is Going to Happen.
