‘One Month Mark’: Jennifer Lawrence to Reunite with ‘No Hard Feelings’ Director for New Comedy!!

Jennifer Lawrence is teaming up with No Hard Feelings director Gene Stupnitsky yet again, this time for yet another dive into the romantic comedy genre.

According to a new report from Deadline, Stupnitsky is in talks to direct the upcoming One Month Mark, a rom-com that Lawrence has already been attached to star in and produce. The movie sees the pair reuniting soon after their successful run in the genre, in what Apple Original Films is hoping will be another big hit.

While not too much is known about One Month Mark, the movie is set to follow a woman who has never made it past a month in a relationship. She soon meets a man who has never gone a month without being in a relationship, setting the two opposite lovebirds up for a potential wacky pairing.

What was No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence about?

2023’s No Hard Feelings starred Lawrence as Maddie Barker, an Uber driver and bartender in Montauk, New York, whose property was facing repossession. In order to make some quick money, she answers a Craigslist ad from a couple who is looking for someone to date their 19-year-old son, Percy, before he goes to college.

Offered a car in exchange for the job, and needing one to get money pocketed again, Barker accepts. She then tries her best to seduce Percy but continually fails. Alongside Lawrence, No Hard Feelings also stars Andrew Barth Feldman, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, and Matthew Broderick.

The movie was a moderate hit, grossing just over $87 million against a budge of $45 million. Lawrence’s role in the film was praised, however, with the actress earning a Golden Globe nomination for her comedic efforts.
