A new Avengers: Doomsday poster just revealed some heroes nobody expected to see in the Sentinel fight. The international artwork assembles a surprising Multiversal lineup that raises major questions about the film’s story.
Avengers: Doomsday gets new international poster
Marvel Studios unveiled a fresh international poster for Avengers: Doomsday on October 12, 2026. The artwork highlights Doctor Doom, the Sentinels, and a diverse roster of Multiversal heroes banding together to fight them. Meanwhile, the backdrop depicts an Incursion tearing through the ruins of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.
Notably, the poster displays Sam Wilson as Captain America, Mister Fantastic, Cyclops, Yelena Belova as Black Widow, and Thor. Additionally, Professor X, Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers, Loki, Gambit, and Shuri as Black Panther round out the lineup. However, Loki and Bucky stand out as the most unexpected additions, having not appeared in the Sentinel battle before.
Elsewhere, Sebastian Stan discussed his experience reuniting with Chris Evans in a recent Decider interview. “It was very nostalgic to look back and think about all of these years that we’ve known each other and grew up together,” Stan shared. “It’s been a family, and it never stops being that way.”
Furthermore, the actor hinted that audiences should prepare for an emotional ride with the film. “I’m sure it’s going to be probably heartbreaking, in a lot of ways,” he continued. “We’ll see who makes it to the next level.”
Overall, the movie unites beloved characters from three separate universes facing an unprecedented existential danger. Stars include Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Robert Downey Jr., and Florence Pugh. Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby from The Fantastic Four: First Steps also join X-Men veterans Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.
Joe and Anthony Russo helm the project using a script penned by Stephen McFeely, with contributions from Michael Waldron. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers further refined the screenplay. Avengers: Doomsday hits theatres on December 18.
