‘How to Kill Your Family’: First BTS Images Confirm Anya Taylor-Joy’s Returns to Netflix With New Revenge Series!! Check It Out!!

Having just hit Netflix three days ago, Anya Taylor-Joy’s adventure dramedy is already taking over America, sitting only behind Ben Affleck’s Animal. Titled Sacrifice, it sees Taylor-Joy portray Joan, a zealot who, with her siblings, is driven by a mysterious volcanic prophecy to cleanse the Earth after the death of their mother. Because of this, they hijack a glamorous charity gala, taking three unlikely hostages for a sacrificial ritual, including movie star Mike Tyler (Chris Evans).

Sacrifice was originally released on September 6, 2025, to critical disappointment but has managed to garner more than enough attention on streaming in its first week. Amid its second life, Taylor-Joy’s next Netflix project appears to be progressing nicely two years after it was commissioned. The thrilling adaptation is based on Bella Mackie’s bestselling 2021 novel and follows Grace, a young woman determined to get revenge on the wealthy family who abandoned her and her mother.

How to Kill Your Family is Taylor-Joy’s upcoming Netflix drama, which currently has no release date but now has its filming schedule confirmed. According to What’s on Netflix, production of How to Kill Your Family is officially underway in London, and the first set photos have been unveiled, showing Taylor-Joy in character as Grace as she arrives back in London after a deadly family trip to Marbella. The photos show the star in front of a black Georgian door holding a cream-and-tan suitcase with a tag marked AGP to LGW, which is Málaga to Gatwick. Málaga is the nearest airport to Marbella.

When Does Anya Taylor-Joy’s Next Netflix Drama Release?

How to Kill Your Family began filming in mid-October 2026 in London and is expected to run until mid-February 2027. Several scenes will also be filmed in Spain, specifically in Marbella. Meanwhile, since filming won’t end until next year and post-production follows immediately after, the show should possibly premiere on Netflix in late 2027 or early 2028.

In addition to Taylor-Joy, who also serves as an executive producer through her LadyKiller banner, How to Kill Your Family stars Academy Award nominee Clive Owen (Children of Men) as Grace’s father, Simon Artemis. Orlando Norman (Wreck) and David Shields (Black Mirror) are also part of the cast in unrevealed roles. The eight-episode series is directed by Emma Moran.
