The casting of Hum Tere Pyaar Mein, which marks Krithi Shetty’s Hindi cinema debut, has received another addition with the makers announcing that Bhagyashree has joined the film. The actress will be paired opposite Priyanshu Chatterjee, bringing together two familiar faces associated with romantic cinema. The film, presented by Rohit Shetty and AVS Studios in association with Tudip Entertainment, went on floors a few weeks ago.
Bhagyashree, who made a lasting impression with her performances in Hindi cinema, is set to appear in a new avatar in the romantic entertainer. While details about her character have not been disclosed, her casting brings an additional dimension to the film’s ensemble. The pairing with Priyanshu Chatterjee is also noteworthy, given the actor’s association with the 2001 romantic drama Tum Bin, which remains one of his most recognised films.
The announcement brings together performers from different phases of Hindi romantic cinema, while the film also introduces Krithi Shetty to the Hindi film industry as a leading actor. Shetty, who has appeared in several South Indian films, will headline the project. The makers have not yet shared further details about the storyline or the relationships between the principal characters.
Hum Tere Pyaar Mein is directed by Vidhi Ghodgaonkar, who has worked closely with Rohit Shetty for the past 17 years as his protégé. The film marks her feature directorial venture. According to the announcement, the project will explore love and relationships through a romantic entertainer, with Ghodgaonkar bringing her approach to the subject.
The film is produced by Abhishek S Vyas and Dipti Agarwal, with Priyanka Chaudhary serving as co-producer. It is presented by Rohit Shetty and AVS Studios in association with Tudip Entertainment.
With filming underway, the makers have begun introducing the cast, although further details about the film’s plot, release schedule and additional members of the ensemble are yet to be announced. The inclusion of Bhagyashree and Priyanshu Chatterjee adds a nostalgic element to the project as it builds towards Krithi Shetty’s first Hindi film outing.
