Synopsis – A chef who loses his restaurant job starts up a food truck in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family.

My Take – After a string of big budget movie movies, Jon Favreau acts, writes, produces & directs a low budget dramedy Chef & guess what he is awesome!! The story, the acting, the cooking, and the music combined to create a wonderful recipe for a beautiful movie.

Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Russel Peters & Dustin Hoffman appear in cameos, while John Leguizamo, Sofía Vergara, Oliver Platt and Emjay Anthony as Percy, play great supporting characters. Yes the movie is kinda predictable but still as a whole, Chef is just so enchanting that any minor weakness is immediately forgiven and forgotten!

Chef is a happy, uplifting more like a feel good movie & anyone who’s seeking to finally crack a smile, laugh, and notice the goodness still left in the world & enjoy FOOD PORN, Chef is ready to serve!
