Synopsis – A small-time con man seeks assistance from his mentor with the intention of settling scores with a gangster.
My Take – This con film actually starts on a very shaky note, with about 3 songs placed right in the 1st twenty minutes, it takes a particular event to turn the pace of the film from a messy start to a very enjoyable & at times really funny movie.
Emraan Hashmi carries the whole film on his shoulders, & his antics in the film are sure to please his fans! It sad to see the talented Pakistani actress Humaima Malik (Bol) being reduced to almost a good looking prop in the film. Paresh Rawal & Kay Kay Menon are seasoned actors & its always delight to watch! Deepak Tijori has a very a likeable yet small role. The music in Emraan Hashmi films are usually the main plus point here, the songs are just average & are placed at all wrong portions.
Director Kunal Deshmukh (Jannat, Jannat 2, Tum Mile) has made film with the sole purpose of entertaining the masses, which means we have to suspend all beliefs in logic! Raja Natwarlal could have been infinitely smarter, more lean and way more taut given the story it was working with and the star cast, but being an Emraan Hashmi fan myself this film does not fail to entertain!
