20th Century Fox’s Deadpool has had a rocky road to production but managed to earn a lot of goodwill with its recent Comic-Con presentation. Now that we’re about six months away from the film’s February 12, 2016 release date, you can expect the marketing machine to rev up in earnest. With that in mind we have a collection of new high-resolution images that show off star Ryan Reynolds as both Wade Wilson and the title character, along with Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel and Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Ed Skrein as Ajax, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Here is the official synopsis – Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
