THE VOID is reminiscent of iconic horror fare such as “HELLRAISER” and “THE BEYOND” while drawing a lot of inspiration from the peak of JOHN CARPENTER’S eighties’ horror stable. It is a brilliant genre throwback to the great synth infused VHS horror films of the 1980’s and is getting a lot of attention in the horror festival circuit.

THE VOID is a story about a highway patrol officer who finds an injured person on the side of the road. When the officer rushes the young man to a nearby hospital, he is trapped in a hellish nightmare that is transforming the staff and patients into something inhuman.

It’ a cross between HELLRAISER and ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 by way of DAVID LYNCH on steroids.

THE VOID is directed by JEREMY GILLESPIE and STEVEN KOSTANSKI and stars ELLEN WONG (Scott Pilgrim Vs The World) and KENNETH WALSH (The Aviator, Legends Of the Fall)
