Sonam Kapoor’s Role Details in Sanjay Dutt Biopic Revealed!!!

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic is one of the most ambitious projects till date. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that people are intrigued about this one. Industry insiders, who have seen the trailer of the movie, claim that it is Ranbir Kapoor’s career best performance till date and the movie will push the envelope as far as making biopics in Bollywood is concerned. Now, after learning so much about the project it is hard not to get excited. While it is established that Ranbir will play Sanjay Dutt, we also have Sonam Kapoor in the movie.

There were rumours that she will play Madhuri Dixit in the film. For those who don’t know, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri had a whirlwind romance back in the day and were also successful co-stars. The two broke up eventually, but their relationship is still talked about in the industry.

Well, Sonam Kapoor has recently stated that she will NOT play any Bollywood actress in the movie. She said she has small but important part in the movie but it is not what everyone is thinking, she is not playing a Bollywood star. She wanted to give us details about the movie but looks like she is bound by contract and hence unable to speak. She did reveal that Rajkumar Hirani is the reason she is doing the film. She said that it was wonderful working with him.

Personally, Sonam Kapoor is touted to get married in Geneva in June. All the prep is going on in full swing and the Pad Man actor is also indulging in a lot of PDA with beau Anand Ahuja.

Besides this, Sonam Kapoor will be starring in Shashanka Ghosh’s directorial Veere Di Wedding. The film is slated to release on June 1, 2018.
