Oscar-winner Hilary Swank has signed on to lead the cast of Fatale, a noir thriller from director Deon Taylor (Traffik) and Hidden Empire Film.

Scripted by David Loughery (Lakeview Terrace), Fatale will see Swank playing a seductive police detective who tricks a married man into a murder scheme. Production is set to get underway in Los Angeles this September.

Swank was recently seen in the FX series Trust and has the Elizabeth Chomko-directed What They Had arriving in October, along with the sci-fi thriller I Am Mother.
