While the first teaser poster certainly didn’t get the best of reactions, we now have a promotional banner for the live-action/CG-hybrid movie Sonic the Hedgehog, which gives us our first proper look at iconic video game character in all of his big screen glory.

The film will see a juvenile delinquent Sonic the Hedgehog teaming up with the sheriff of Green Hills in an effort to thwart the evil scientist Dr. Ivo Robotnik and his plans for world domination.

Sonic the Hedgehog is directed by Jeff Fowler (Gopher Broke) and features a cast that includes Ben Schwartz (House of Lies), James Marsden (Westworld), Jim Carrey (Kidding), Adam Pally (Happy Endings), Tika Sumpter (Ride Along), Neal McDonough (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) and Natasha Rothwell (Love, Simon).
