‘ARK: The Animated Series’ Gets a Full Trailer!! Check It Out!!

An extended version of the trailer for Ark: The Animated Series has been released online.

The trailer features several detailed historical drawings, with various voices discussing topics such as mythology and the cost of violence. The scene then shifts to a young woman wielding a bow and arrow and riding a duck-billed dinosaur, who is attacked by a knight in full armor riding a carnivorous dinosaur. She eventually dispatches the knight and his mount with the help of her own dinosaur.

ARK: The Animated Series is based on the 2017 open-world survival game ARK: Survival Evolved, developed by Studio Wildcard. The series was announced during the 2020 Game Awards, and has been greenlit for two 14-episode seasons. ARK creators Jeremy Stieglitz and Jesse Rapczak will develop and act as executive producers on the series alongside director Jay Oliva (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Marguerite Bennett (DC Comics Bombshells) is one of the lead writers.

ARK also features a star-studded voice cast, including Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Discovery), Russell Crowe (Gladiator), Alan Tudyk (Firefly), David Tennant (Doctor Who), Elliot Page (The Umbrella Academy), Jeffery Wright (Westworld), and Vin Diesel (The Fast and the Furious). Madeleine Madden of the upcoming The Wheel of Time series will star as Helena Walker.

ARK: The Animated Series will premiere in 2022.
