Now that Sooraj Pancholi is finally a free man, where does he go from here? Would the film industry come forward to finally give Sooraj the break he deserves? There is a strong positive buzz on Sooraj’s comeback. The judicial clean chit has cleared the air regarding his future. Several producers are now looking at signing Sooraj for their projects.
A prominent filmmaker said, “There is the fear that Sooraj’s career might be a casualty of the hate campaign similar to the one carried out against Rhea Chakraborty after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. But the industry by and large believes Sooraj to be innocent. They will come forward with offers once the dust settles down.”
At the moment, Sooraj wants to take a break from the public gaze to be with his family. Mother Zarina Wahab said, “The enormity of the verdict (the acquittal) will take a long time to sink in. Right now, we are just enjoying the feeling of being a normal family, not thinking about the future.”
Sooraj Pancholi made his acting debut with Hero in 2015, which was produced by Salman Khan. It was also the debut for Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty. He was next seen in Satellite Shankar (2019). His last film was Time To Dance (2021).
