Top Worst Hollywood Films of 2024 – A MovizArk Take!!!

Indeed, another year of incredible movies comes to an end and what a year it has been. A year that gifted us a wide array of cinematic gems, each offering something unique, from blockbuster cinema to poignant dramas. With a variety of voices and styles, filmmakers and studios have captivated audiences across the globe, leaving an indelible mark on both critics and audiences alike. This also the year that saw several films cross the billion-dollar mark globally proving that if you deliver what the audience wants, they will come in droves to watch it. For example, Inside Out 2, which not only topped the US domestic charts with a gross of $652.9 million but also became the first animated film to surpass $1 billion internationally, showcasing the enduring appeal of Pixar’s storytelling. And of course, Deadpool & Wolverine, which raked in $636.7 million in the US and $1.338 billion worldwide, solidifying that superhero fatigue is reserved mainly for characters people don’t want to watch. Something Sony and their Spider-Man less cinematic universe needs to understand. Sure, nothing quite matched the cultural behemoth that was Barbenheimer, as much as the marketing folk tried to turn the Gladiator II and Wicked clash into something called ‘Glicked’, thankfully they were both big enough hits on their own. Amidst all this there were also lesser-heralded cinematic offerings too. Indies quickly forgotten following a swift round of praise. Genre fans, too, got a mighty kick out of a bunch of new good (& terrible) horror flicks. Yes, I did not see every single release this year, however, from what I have seen this are some of the worst of the list, according to my viewing experience, a mix of both theatrical and streaming releases:
