The cast of Warfare went to a three-week boot camp and filmed the movie in five weeks. “I’ve actually seen it, so I can’t say too much, but it’s quite something that I’m incredibly proud to be a part of,” teased Quinn. Mendoza is an Iraqi War veteran who shared his process of crafting the characters. “I interviewed these [real] guys and talked about, ‘How did you feel? What were you thinking?’ Even some of the regrets that we have from that day,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
