The official poster for AMC’s Interview with the Vampire Season 3 is out right as the show heads into production. The upcoming season is based on Anne Rice’s novel, The Vampire Lestat, and focuses on Sam Reid’s character Lestat de Liocourt as he embarks on a journey to become a rock star. As per the poster, the show is set to return in 2026 on AMC and AMC+ and feature Lestat becoming the most immortal rockstar the world has ever seen.
Interview with the Vampire Season 3 will also feature Jacob Andersen as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, Assad Zaman as Armand, Delainey Hayles as Claudia, and Ben Daniels as Rash. Ahead of the show’s release, AMC is planning a promotional tour to stay in line with the season’s storyline. According to a press release by the network, the tour will kick off later in 2025 and include first look “soundchecks” of the new season.
AMC released the first teaser for Interview with the Vampire Season 3 back in July 2024 during San Diego Comic-Con. The clip features Reid as the vampire rockstar Lestat being interviewed by Daniel Molly, who pays homage to the famous interview with Louis in Season 2 of the show. The clip ends with Lestat revealing a song titled “Long Face” from his upcoming album in Season 3.
AMC’s Immortal Universe Is Expanding With ‘The Talamasca: The Secret Order’
AMC has just confirmed the title and release window for the latest addition to Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe. The Talamasca: The Secret Order centers around a mysterious organization that has tied all of Rice’s novels together. The secret society is known to be on the hunt for supernatural beings like vampires and witches. While the Talamasca has been an off-screen watchdog in Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches, the upcoming show will dive into its inner workings and will be set in the present day.
The six-episode debut season of the upcoming show kicked off production in October 2024 and wrapped in early 2025. The show stars Nicholas Denton and Elizabeth McGovern in lead roles, along with Willian Fichtner and Maisie Richardson-Sellers. The Talamasca: The Secret Order will officially premiere on AMC and AMC+ in fall 2025. The show is executive produced by John Lee Hancock, who also serves as the showrunner alongside Mark Lafferty.
While Justin Kirk’s Raglan James from Interview with the Vampire Season 2 and Tongayi Chidya Chikore’s Ciprien Grieve from Mayfair Witches are both known to be Talamasca agents, there’s no confirmation on whether they are part of the upcoming series. However, the teaser for the show dropped during the Mayfair Witches Season 1 finale in March 2025, implying that The Talamasca: The Secret Order might feature an appearance from Daniel Molloy.
Interview with the Vampire Season 3 is slated for a 2026 premiere. An exact premiere date has not been announced yet. Previous seasons of the show are available to stream on AMC+.
