‘Mission: Impossible – the Final Reckoning’ Gets New Character Posters!! Check It Out!!

Paramount has officially released a new batch of character posters for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Leading the charge is Tom Cruise, who is back to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt for the eighth (and likely final) time since first suiting up as the spy in 1996. Following suit are his franchise compatriots, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg, the former having also been around since the first film, but the latter first joined in the third installment in 2006. Also receiving a new character poster is Tramell Tillman, the Severance breakout star who has become famous for his performance as Mr. Milchick. Nick Offerman, The Last of Us and Civil War star, also received a character poster, along with franchise veteran Angela Bassett.

Next on the list to earn a character poster is Pom Klementieff, the Guardians of the Galaxy veteran who made her franchise debut in the most recent installment, Dead Reckoning. Esai Morales, the villain of Dead Reckoning, also got a new character poster, as well as Hannah Waddingham, the Ted Lasso star who will be suiting up in the franchise for the first time next month. Hayley Atwell, who made her debut along with Klementieff in Dead Reckoning, earned a new poster, with original M:I veteran Henry Czerny following suit with a poster as well. Shea Whigham’s Jasper Briggs received a new poster, as well as Greg Tarzan Davis, Rolf Saxon, and Lucy Tulugarjuk. The most notable stars to not receive character posters are Vanessa Kirby, Katy O’Brian, Holt McCallany, Indira Varma, and Charles Parnell. The film hits theaters next month on May 23.

What’s Next for Tom Cruise After ‘Mission: Impossible’?

After starring in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, it doesn’t appear Tom Cruise has any plans to slow down. He’s already working on a sequel to Top Gun: Maverick, the 2022 $1 billion-earning blockbuster that was nominated for several Oscars, including Best Picture. He’s also attached to star in a SpaceX project with Doug Liman that aims to be the first movie to film in outer space, but details about the project are sparse at this time. Cruise will also topline Deeper, an upcoming underwater thriller, and a currently untitled Alejandro G. Iñárritu film with Jesse Plemons.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning hits theaters on May 23.
