Two ‘Teen Titans’ Movies Are Reportedly in the Works!!

Teen Titans has been on television for a really long time. While there are those who are fans of the 2003 series that ran for 5 seasons, there are also those who have watched its spin-off, Teen Titans Go!, and the 2018 live-action series, Titans. And while the Teen Titans have yet to join the DCU, Warner Bros has already released a handful of animated films based on this superhero group. But the wait to see Robin and the gang on the big screen may finally be over, as it was teased that not only is another Teen Titans Go! movie in the works, but also a live-action feature.

In a recent interview, Pam Abdy and Mike De Luca from Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group teased that James Gunn and Peter Safran are working on two new Teen Titans projects. The first is another Teen Titans Go! Movie, but the second is a Teen Titans live-action movie. Sadly, there were not many details about what these two features were shared, nor were there any hints about possible release dates.

I think James and Peter are working on a live-action Teen Titans, and a new Teen Titans Go I think actually, too.”

Teen Titans is a DC superhero team consisting of super-powered teenagers. Its leader is Robin (Dick Grayson), and joining him are Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy. This youth-centric superhero group first made its debut in issue #54 of The Brave and the Bold in 1964, and it wasn’t until 2003 that the stories of this comic superhero group were given a TV show of their own. Despite their ongoing popularity, the Teen Titans have yet to join the DCU. However, the Titans series was connected to the Arrowverse as it was part of the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover.
