‘Eyes of Wakanda’: First Images Tease a New Set of Warriors!! Check It Out!!

The next animated series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is ready to make an impact. The first images from Eyes of Wakanda have been released, giving audiences a different look at the nation that has been the home of several Black Panthers for generations. The series will follow the warriors known as the Hatut Haraze. The mission of these mysterious characters will be to retrieve Vibranium items across history, preventing catastrophes by keeping the hazardous material in the hands of Wakanda. Their duty will spawn over the course of decades. While the world rejoices in the potential Vibranium presents for everyone, the Hatut Haraze will keep the legacy of their home alive.

The images from Eyes of Wakanda introduce Noni (Winnie Harlow) and The Lion (Cress Williams). The exact role these characters will play in the narrative of the show will be revealed later this summer, when the highly-anticipated project makes its way to Disney+. The series will show audiences what it means to belong to Wakanda. The Black Panther movies have only shown a glimpse of the nation’s potential, with the upcoming animated show diving deep into the history of the powerful community.

The voice cast from Eyes of Wakanda also includes Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold. The roles these actors will be playing haven’t been revealed yet. Considering how successful the first season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man turned out to be earlier this year, it’s easy to understand why Marvel and Disney are keeping secrets related to Eyes of Wakanda. The anticipation grows for what the company has prepared for the future of Marvel Animation. With only a few weeks to go until the premiere of the show, it won’t be long before Marvel and Disney launch a trailer for the series.

Return to Wakanda on the Big Screen

Eyes of Wakanda will present a different side of the nation Marvel fans have come to know for years, but Marvel Studios is still looking forward to returning to the country on the big screen. Letitia Wright will return as Shuri in next year’s Avengers: Doomsday. The crossover could provide hints regarding what’s happening in Wakanda after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Beyond that, a third Black Panther movie is in development. In the meantime, Marvel fans can learn more about the Black Panther’s legacy thanks to Eyes of Wakanda.

Eyes of Wakanda premieres on Disney+ on August 6.
