‘Vision Quest’: Upcoming Marvel Series Adds T’nia Miller to Cast!!

Although it’s been in the works for years now, Marvel’s Vision Quest series just took a major step forward. Deadline reports that T’nia Miller, best known for her role in the Netflix original series The Fall of the House of Usher, has joined the cast of Paul Bettany’s Disney+ series. She is rumored to be playing Jacosta, a sentient android built by Ultron to be his bride, who eventually turns on him and sides with the Avengers. While this has yet to be confirmed, it would line up with last year’s reports that James Spader would reprise his role as Ultron in the show. The series will be set post-WandaVision, and although it’s currently in production in London, it’s unclear when it will be released on Disney+.

Vision has not been seen since the events of the WandaVision finale, which saw him have character arcs both as normal Vision and White Vision. The regular Vision we spend so much time with in the 2021 Disney+ series was created by Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) along with the entire town of Westview. Vision’s real body was being kept at S.W.O.R.D., where he was then reprogrammed and sent after her in the season finale. Both Visions come face to face in the finale, and it’s here where the original Vision shares a fraction of his memories with White Vision, who flies off never to be seen again. Vision Quest is expected to pick up shortly after this moment and follow the vibranium-constructed and, at one point, mind stone-powered android as he fights to learn who he really is.

Will Vision Be in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’?

When Marvel Studios announced the official cast for Avengers: Doomsday not long ago, Bettany was not among the names to receive a chat. However, neither were other stars like Benedict Cumberbatch, who has already confirmed his role in the movie, so this doesn’t mean much. There’s been a lot of joking around about what certain characters will bring to the table in the fight against Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), but Vision can certainly hold his own. While Doom could still likely find a way to dispatch of Vision without too much trouble, he would put up more of a fight than other characters who are confirmed to appear in the film.

Vision Quest does not have an official released date.
