Prime Video has officially announced the new cast joining Reacher Season 4, the hit action drama led by Alan Ritchson and based on Lee Child’s best-selling novels. Among the big names is How to Train Your Dragon and Fubar star Jay Baruchel, who will appear as a series regular alongside Sydelle Noel (GLOW), Agnez Mo, Anggun, and Kevin Corrigan. Recurring guest stars for the season include Kevin Weisman (Marvel’s Runaways), Marc Blucas (My Life with the Walter Boys), and Kathleen Robertson (The Expanse).
The fourth season of the series will adapt Gone Tomorrow, the 13th book in Child’s Jack Reacher series, with the story kicking off with a tragic event on a New York subway, where Reacher’s instincts end up putting him in the middle of — shocker — a vast conspiracy involving covert ops, the deep state and high ranking politicians. Just another day at the office then.
Baruchel will portray Jacob Merrick, a small-town cop who’s about to get swept into a much bigger case than he signed up for. Noel is playing Tamara Green, a detective with the Philadelphia PD — and one half of a new investigative duo, as Corrigan steps in as her partner, Detective Docherty.
Meanwhile, Weisman will appear as Russell Plum, a Washington D.C.-based freelance journalist with an eye on a possible CIA Black Site. Blucas plays Congressman John Samson, and Robertson will play his wife, Elsbeth — both of whom may be more involved in Reacher’s growing conspiracy than they let on. Snakes in the grass.
How Popular Is ‘Reacher’?
Following a blockbuster third season that premiered in February 2025, Reacher has officially become Prime Video’s most-watched returning series ever. That momentum — along with an early Season 4 renewal last October — gave the writers room plenty of time to dive deep into one of the series’ most tense, fast-paced thrillers in Gone Tomorrow. Season 3 saw Reacher adapting Persuader and going full rogue-agent, and with Gone Tomorrow, he’s back in lone-wolf mode — this time against forces that may be even more dangerous than he realizes.
Production on Season 4 is underway. The new season will be the second in a row without Maria Sten’s Neagley in a major role, though fans can expect her to return soon in her own spinoff, which has already wrapped filming and is expected to premiere ahead of Reacher’s return.
Reacher is developed by Nick Santora, with Lee Child, Alan Ritchson, and Don Granger serving as executive producers alongside Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, Lisa Kussner, Sam Hill, Amy Pocha & Seth Cohen, and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell. New episodes will premiere on Prime Video.
