‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ Trailer Sees A Navy SEAL Transform into a CIA Agent!! Check It Out!!

Three years since Chris Pratt first took audiences on a pulse-pounding action-packed journey with The Terminal List, Prime Video is inviting viewers to return to that world via a trailer for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. This time around, Friday Night Lights alum, Taylor Kitsch, will step into the spotlight as Ben Edwards, with Pratt also reprising his role as James Reece. Set for an arrival on August 27, we’re already expecting the project to quickly climb the streamer’s Top 10 and wipe out the competition — just like the main characters wipe out their targets.

Serving as a prequel to the story that came before it, audiences pick up with Kitsch’s Ben Edwards at the top of the trailer for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf as he’s being stripped of his Navy SEAL title. Emotions are tense, and the drama is heavy after Ben is contacted by the CIA to become part of a team that will track and take down a known terrorist. Ben’s new teammates seem uncertain about working with him thanks to his reputation as a loose cannon — but they’re just going to have to deal with it. As the group gets closer to their target, they soon realize that not everything is as it seems and difficult decisions will need to be made — ones they’ll be forced to live with for the rest of their lives.

In addition to Pratt and Kitsch, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf will also feature performances from Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy), Luke Hemsworth (Gunner), Robert Wisdom (The Wire), Shiraz Tzarfati (The Serpent Queen), Dar Salim (Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant), and Jared Shaw (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). The thriller hails from David DiGilio, who created and served as the showrunner on the original series, and Jack Carr, the author behind the bestselling novel on which The Terminal List is based. Additionally, Kitsch, Shaw, Pratt, DiGilio, and Carr also executive produce alongside Antoine Fuqua, Kat Samick, Max Adams, and Frederick E.O. Toye.

What Else Has Taylor Kitsch Been Up To?

Although we’ll always know and love him for his role in the iconic series, Friday Night Lights, Kitsch’s career has been so much more than the NBC football drama of yesteryear. This year alone, the actor has been on an action rampage, as, ahead of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’s arrival, he starred in one of Netflix’s biggest titles of 2025: American Primeval, which reunited him with Friday Night LightsPeter Berg.

Check out the trailer for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf above and watch it on Prime Video on August 27.
