‘Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent’ Trailer Teases the New High-Octane Spin-Off!! Check It Out!!

The 2025/2026 television broadcast season is nearly upon us and with it, the return of our most beloved shows. When the fall arrives, Dick Wolf: USA will face off against Dick Wolf: Canada as two different shows by the same creator go head-to-head. While Season 11 of Chicago Med premieres on October 1 on NBC, the latest iteration of Law & Order, emerging from up north, will be arriving on The CW. Detective Sergeants Graff and Bateman are set to arrive Stateside when the Wolf series, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, premieres on The CW Wednesday, September 24. Here, the procedural will air opposite NBC’s Chicago Med. Following its premiere, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent episodes will stream the next day on the CW App. Looking ahead, the procedural has released its first trailer.

The trailer introduces us to a new city, Toronto, where its war on crime is led by its Specialized Criminal Investigations Unit. Holding the spotlight are the detective duo, Detective Sergeants Henry Graff (Aden Young) and Frankie Bateman (Kathleen Munroe), who investigate high-profile crimes in the metropolis. The first case on the cards from the trailer is that of a dead boyfriend and a girlfriend who is attempting to flee the country. “The truth is usually easiest to remember,” Munroe’s Frankie admonishes the suspect. Next up — a suspected crime of passion with multiple stab wounds to the back. However, Young’s Henry disagrees: “This was no crime of passion. This was a premeditated murder.”
