The second chapter in the adventure of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy has officially premiered its first trailer. The official Star Wars YouTube account unveiled the trailer for the second season of the hit Disney+ series, which can be found below, showing Ashley Eckstein reprising her signature animated role as Ahsoka Tano, and also Sonic actor Ben Schwartz alongside as a very obscure character from Star Wars’ early history and newcomer Dan Stevens as a Sith Lord. Star Wars legend Ahmed Best will have a role in the second season of the show, which was announced earlier this year at Star Wars Celebration in Japan. Best is going to be playing Darth Jar Jar, a character who fans have been craving to see in some medium for years now. LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past will premiere on Disney+ next month on September 19.
The Star Wars franchise and LEGO franchise have been deeply intertwined for years now. Between the early releases of the LEGO Star Wars video games and the mountain of collectibles available for both signature ships, characters, and more, it’s safe to say that Star Wars partnering with LEGO has been mutually beneficial for both businesses. LEGO has also found a niche with younger audiences in other franchises like Marvel and DC, airing movies and TV shows featuring some of the most iconic heroes like Spider-Man, Batman, and more. A LEGO Spider-Man universe can even be seen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which marked a huge win for both LEGO fans and Sony Animation. Look for more releases like LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy in the years to come as they continue to grow in popularity.
‘Rebuild the Galaxy’ Star Dan Stevens Is Booked and Busy
Before playing a Sith Lord in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars show, Dan Stevens has been all over the place in various movies and TV shows. Stevens recently starred opposite Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons in Zero Day, which came not long after he joined the MonsterVerse franchise in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Stevens is expected to reprise his role as Trapper in the 2027 sequel, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, which also stars Kaitlyn Dever (The Last of Us), Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), and Jack O’Connell (Sinners).
