‘Gen V’ Season 2 Gets a New Orientation Video!! Check It Out!!

The future is shaping up in a new promo for Season 2 of Gen V, and we’ve gotta tell you — it’s not looking good. Today, Prime Video has dropped a new teaser for the sophomore installment of the uber-popular spin-off of The Boys that gives a bit of insight into what audiences can expect when the story picks up next month. Featuring a handful of familiar faces, like Erin Moriarty’s Starlight and Antony Starr’s Homelander, the brief look better bridges the gap between the two shows and masterfully explains the kind of world viewers are about to walk into.

Leaning into the black-and-white images of the political upheaval that we saw play out during Season 4 of the flagship series, a message from Godolkin University’s new leader, Dean Cipher (Hamish Linklater), serves as the basis for the new promo. As Cipher talks about how superheroes are under attack, he points to Victoria Neuman’s (Claudia Doumit) murder as part of “a deep state conspiracy” and stokes the flames of hatred against Starlight (Erin Moriarty), who, we learn, is still on the run. Describing Godolkin University as a place young supes can hide from “the woke agenda,” the teaser turns hopeful as we see returning characters like Asa Germann’s Sam and Maddie Phillips’ Cate train with other students.

So far, we know there will be a time jump between the first and second seasons of Gen V, allowing the offshoot to catch up with the show that made it possible in the first place. Marie (Jaz Sinclair) and the rest of her friends are considering whether to return to Godolkin after the horrifying events of the first season when she is approached by Starlight, who sends her on an undisclosed mission. But, things are much more dangerous this time around thanks to Homelander’s control of the government and the new Dean. There’s still quite a bit up in the air plot-wise, but what we do know is that the eight-episode season will set up The Boys’ fifth and final foray into madness.

When Does Season 5 of ‘The Boys’ Come Out?

We don’t fully know when to expect the fifth and final season of The Boys, but we’re expecting it to grace our screens in 2026. Thanks to numerous members of the cast and the title’s creator, Eric Kripke, we know that filming has come to an end. Now, there are just months of post-production in between fans and the final chapter of the story. On the bright side, cameras are up and running for the first season of a new off-shoot, titled Vought Rising, which will see Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash reprise their roles as Soldier Boy and Stormfront, respectively.

Check out the latest promo teaser for Gen V above and see the first three episodes when they premiere on September 17.
