Euphoria Season 3 has finally taken a massive step forward. HBO has revealed some new cast members joining the fold, including Natasha Lyonne, Eli Roth, Trisha Paytas, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Danielle Deadwyler, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon, and Sam Trammell. HBO has also confirmed that Euphoria Season 3 has begun filming in Los Angeles, and that the series still plans to be released in 2026. The most recent episode of Euphoria aired over three years ago on February 27, 2022.
Other new cast members announced today include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Sharon Stone, ROSALÍA, Marshawn Lynch, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hérbert, Anna Van Patten, and Asante Blackk. Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner will also return. However, the news that has fans excited is the confirmation of returning stars such as Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo. Euphoria Season 3 has one of the most impressive casts ever assembled for any TV show.
For a while, it looked like Euphoria Season 3 was never going to make it to the screen. After years of being at a stalemate and a cast that had grown into major stars, all signs pointed to Euphoria Season 3 being dead in the water. It wasn’t until last year that things began to pick up steam as cast members confirmed they had read scripts, and then things were made official when HBO announced the show would begin filming and return to streaming in 2026.
Who Created ‘Euphoria’?
Euphoria is written and created for television by Sam Levinson, who also recently wrote all five episodes of The Idol on HBO Max. The critically panned series stars The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp. Before the first season of Euphoria, Levinson wrote and directed Assassination Nation, the action comedy starring Colman Domingo and Suki Waterhouse. He later worked with Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas on the erotic thriller Deep Water, which is currently streaming on Hulu. He is returning to write Season 3 of Euphoria despite speculation that he wasn’t involved.
