‘Percy Jackson’ Season 2 Trailer Ventures Into the Sea of Monsters!! Check It Out!!

Today is a great day for Percy Jackson fans. Disney+ has released the first official trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2, which will premiere its first two episodes on December 10. The new trailer shows the return of Walker Scobell as the titular character, along with Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri as his closest confidants, Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 1 adapted the first book in Rick Riordan’s novel series, The Lightning Thief, and Season 2 will adapt the second novel, The Sea of Monsters.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 1 also featured a two-episode premiere, and Season 2 will continue this same trend. New episodes of the hit mythology series will follow every Wednesday. After Camp Half-Blood’s protective border is breached, Percy must embark on a dangerous adventure into the Sea of Monsters to save his best friend, Grover. Percy isn’t alone, though. He has his other best friend, Annabeth, beside him the whole way, along with other companions like Clarisse, and his new half-brother, Tyson. Percy is Camp Half-Blood’s last chance to stop Luke and the dangerous Titan Kronos from destroying the camp as they know it.

In addition to all the aforementioned returning stars, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 also stars Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Daniel Diemer, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Glynn Turman, Timothy Simons, Virginia Kull, Adam Copeland, and more. The show was written and created for TV by author Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, who also executive produce along with Rebecca Riordan and more. The official Percy Jackson podcast will also launch alongside Season 2 on November 10.

The Fate of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Has Already Been Decided

Disney has already announced that a third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is in the works, and fans can rest assured that the wait for Season 3 won’t be nearly as long as the wait for Season 2. There will end up being roughly a two-year gap between the first and second seasons, but Season 3 is expected to air sometime next year. Production kicked off earlier this year on Season 3, long before the airing of Season 2, guaranteeing that it will be ready in time to hit a 2026 release date.
