‘Paradise’ Season 2 Teaser Sees Sterling K. Brown Chaotically Escape!! Check It Out!!

Today is a great day for Paradise fans. After months of anticipation, Hulu has finally released the official teaser trailer for Paradise Season 2 at CCXP 2026, which is coming to Hulu next year. Starring Sterling K. Brown, Paradise is the hit dystopian series that took the world by storm last year and even earned four Emmy nominations. The series follows Agent Xavier Collins (Brown) as he investigates the murder of President Cal Bradford (James Marsden), only he’s not living in a normal world. An ice storm sent 25,000 people into a bunker inside a mountain in Colorado, where Sinatra (Julianne Nicholson) rules over all.

Paradise was renewed for a second season before the conclusion of the first, which wasn’t a surprise to those who had been following the show. It was a massive hit for Hulu, topping streaming charts throughout its first season, and it even garnered acclaim from critics and audiences. It sits at strong scores of 86% from critics and 84% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. The cast and crew haven’t been shy about sharing updates for Season 2, either, which began production earlier this year and wrapped near the end of the summer.

Paradise Season 1 mostly takes place inside the bunker in Colorado, but there are flashbacks — mostly focused on Marsden’s Cal Bradford — that show how things were before. Brown and creator Dan Fogelman have confirmed that Paradise Season 2 will venture outside the bunker while Collins searches for his wife Terri, whom he thought was dead. Other stars, such as Shailene Woodley have also joined the Paradise Season 2 cast as humans living outside the bunker, and this subset of people is expected to have a major impact on the plot in Season 2. The trailer below offers only a glimpse of what’s in store, with Collins surviving a massive plane crash and exploring this strange post-apocalyptic Earth.

Who Killed the President in Paradise Season 1?

It’s revealed near the end of Season 1 that Trent (Ian Merrigan) is responsible for the death of President Cal Bradford in Paradise. Trent ultimately dies in Paradise Season 1 after he’s finally caught by Collins, and he opts to take his own life instead of being gunned down or captured. Paradise Season 2 loses the mystery of who killed the President, but it adds an even more intriguing mystery regarding what’s happening outside the bunker. The fate of Paradise beyond Season 2 has yet to be decided.
