For Tacker, portraying Tiwari wasn’t just about mimicking mannerisms; it required understanding the emotional and psychological toll of investigating the incomprehensible. He reportedly spent months studying archived footage, interviews, case reports, and recordings from Tiwari’s expeditions — ranging from abandoned hotels to alleged possession sites — to capture the essence of a man driven by both curiosity and compassion.
Reflecting on the experience, Tacker shared, “When I watched the trailer for the first time, I was thinking of the reaction it would get from the viewers. It’s mainly because this paranormal genre doesn’t allow you to lean on the comfort of logic. I had to abandon my rational grain. I’m a sceptic by nature, but this role demanded that I move beyond intellect and trust something far more primal. Instinct over reasoning, feeling over analysis—because the truth is, some things that happen in this world simply cannot be explained. Here I am playing a man who was trying to help people who were trapped in fear. So this role made me confront my own ideas of fear, conviction, and vulnerability. I hope the trailer has that effect on people and leaves them intrigued for what’s to come.”
