‘The Artful Dodger’ Season 2 Trailer Teases a New Heist!! Check It Out!!

Jack Dawkins isn’t done tempting fate just yet. Hulu has released the first official trailer for Season 2 of The Artful Dodger, marking the long-awaited return of the Australian Original series nearly three years after its debut. The new season premieres February 10, 2026, streaming on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally, with Season 1 currently available to watch. The comedy-adventure series stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster as the grown-up version of Charles Dickens’ famous pickpocket, now navigating life in Port Victory. Season 2 finds Jack facing his most dire predicament yet, as the trailer reveals he’s scheduled for an appointment with the noose while being relentlessly pursued by Inspector Boxer, the town’s newly appointed lawman.

Jack’s Latest Scheme Comes With Deadly Consequences

Complicating matters further is Jack’s unresolved love for Lady Belle (Maia Mitchell). If Jack is caught so much as seeing her, he’ll be hanged — a threat that adds real urgency to their already precarious relationship. Belle, meanwhile, is determined to carve out her own future in medicine, defying social expectations and stepping into dangerous territory of her own. Her ambition puts her directly in the path of both Jack and Boxer, with the latter emerging as both a romantic rival and a professional threat. As if evading execution weren’t enough, David ThewlisFagin pulls Jack back into the criminal underworld, dragging him into what’s described as their most dangerous heist yet. The trailer teases escalating chaos as a killer stalks Port Victory, new characters arrive, and long-simmering tensions threaten to explode. According to the official synopsis, Season 2 promises “more thrills, humor, heart, invention and deception than ever.”

Several familiar faces return for the new season, including Susie Porter, Damien Garvey, Tim Minchin, Lucy-Rose Leonard, Nicholas Burton, Kim Gyngell, Luke Carroll, Vivienne Awosoga, Aljin Abella, Brigid Zeneni, and Albert Latailakepa. New cast members joining the ensemble include Luke Bracey, Jeremy Sims, and Zac Burgess. The Artful Dodger is co-created by James McNamara and inspired by characters from Oliver Twist. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Curio Pictures and filmed in Sydney, Australia, with support from Screen NSW’s Made in NSW Fund. Executive producers include Jo Porter, Rachel Gardner, and McNamara, with Cameron Welsh serving as series producer. Season 2 episodes are directed by Ben Young, Ben C. Lucas, and Gracie Otto.
