‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Sneak Peek Confirms 2026 Release!! Check It Out!!

As the Season 2 finale of Percy Jackson and the Olympians airs on Disney+, so too is an exciting update about the show’s future. A sneak peek at the fantasy series’ next installment was released, which also included a release date that’s not far from now. Season 3 of Percy Jackson will be based on Rick Riordan‘s The Titan’s Curse, and this first look teases a popular ship in the franchise.

During the mid-credits scene of Percy Jackson‘s Season 2 finale, it showcases one of the early chapters of the book, where Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) infiltrate a school to search for more demigods. The scene takes place at a school dance, where the two demigods pose as students and take part in a “first dance” to “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez. It moves to a title screen that announces that Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 will be released “this year,” but no firm date has been announced. It’s likely to come out this December, since Season 1 and 2 were released then.

The Titans Curse is the third installment of the Percy Jackson book series, released in 2007. The story takes place months after The Sea of Monsters and introduces two new demigods. Additionally, following Thalia’s resurrection, she too becomes part of the main cast. Production on Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 began in August 2025, with Dafne Keen cast as Artemis and Saara Chaudry as Zoë Nightshade.

How Well Did ‘Percy Jackson and The Olympians’ Season 2 Perform?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 premiered on Disney+ on December 10, 2025, and featured 8 additional episodes. As of writing, the second installment has received higher praise than Season 1, earning a 100% Certified Fresh Critics Score and an 86% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition, Season 2’s IMDb scores have improved compared to Season 1, but the rating for the series finale has yet to be revealed. Compared to the 2013 film adaptation, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, the latest adaptation saw a noticeable increase, as the film earned a 42% critics’ score and a 54% audience score.

Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is scheduled to come out in 2026. In the meantime, you can stream all the episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 on Disney+.
