‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Renewed for Season 5 Ahead of Season 4 Premiere!!

Netflix has finally decided the fate of its hit Bosch replacement series mere days before the Season 4 premiere. The streamer has announced that The Lincoln Lawyer has been renewed for Season 5, which is already in active development. The Lincoln Lawyer has aired four successful seasons since its premiere back in 2022, so it’s no surprise that Netflix is moving quickly to ensure that there won’t be much of a wait for the fifth season. All episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will be released on February 5, which Netflix officially announced when it released the first batch of images from the new season late last year.

Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer is co-showrun by Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez, who shared a statement on the show receiving a well-deserved Season 5 renewal:

“We’re so excited to share the upcoming fourth season with the audience on February 5th, and even more excited to share the news that we’re already hard at work on the next one. Season Four is the most challenging and intensely personal journey we’ve taken Mickey Haller on yet, and we’re thrilled and grateful to be able to continue the ride in Season Five!”

Plot details about The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 are still being ironed out, but Netflix did confirm that it will feature 10 episodes. Fans have coined The Lincoln Lawyer Netflix’s Bosch replacement series, which is due more to the fact that it’s inspired by the work of Michael Connelly than any plot similarities. Michael Connelly is also famous for writing the series of novels that led to Titus Welliver’s hit detective series. There are some minor procedural similarities between both shows, though, even if Bosch is more of a detective drama and The Lincoln Lawyer is more of a courtroom thriller.

Who Stars in ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’?

The Lincoln Lawyer stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, Becki Newton as Lorna Crane, Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson, Jaz Raycole as Izzy Letts, Angus Sampson as Cisco Wojciechowski, and Cobie Smulders. Season 4 will follow Mickey on his toughest journey yet when he’s framed for murdering one of his high-level clients. This puts him and his office in a battle against the FBI and the DA. Season 4 is based on Connelly’s sixth Lincoln Lawyer novel, The Law of Innocence.
