‘Jury Duty’ Season 2 Teaser Leaves the Courtroom for a Fake Company Retreat!! Check It Out!!

In 2023, the world was united by a lone hero who rose from the halls of a courtroom hidden camera-style show and warmed the hearts of viewers around the world. That leading man was Ronald Gladden who, without having any idea, was the subject of a series titled Jury Duty, in which he performed the titular civic duty alongside a group of his peers. Gladden had no clue that everything around him was a set-up and that his fellow jurors were actors, but nevertheless proved that human decency will forever win. Now, three years later, audiences will see a new hero take over where Gladden left off, as Prime Video has announced the arrival of its latest series, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat. Slated for a premiere on the streamer on March 20, the project, which you can see a sneak peek of below, will follow in the footsteps of the courtroom comedy, but this time take things to the meeting rooms of a workplace retreat.

This time around, the man under the microscope is Anthony, who has recently been hired as a temporary employee at a family-owned hot sauce company. While we don’t meet him in the first-look teaser, we hear his voice off-camera saying, “If I go home and tell my parents about this stuff, they’re gonna be like, ‘You’re lying.’” The audio clip is already a step in the right direction for the new series, teasing the ridiculousness that will follow Anthony during his time away. Just like last time, Anthony will be the only non-actor in the project, with everything he experiences and sees staged like it was for Gladden during the original project. Tensions quickly spike to an all-time high when the founder of the company announces his retirement and the family members fight amongst one another to be the next big boss.

Meet the Team Behind ‘Jury Duty’

After striking gold as one of the members of the ensemble behind Jury Duty, Paradise star, James Marsden returns to the fold as an executive producer for the follow-up installment. In addition to executive producing, Eisenberg and Stupnitsky hold credits as the show’s co-creators, with Szymanski directing.

After cleaning house at the award circuit just years ago, we’re excited to see what Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat brings to the table.
