‘Imperfect Women’ Trailer Finds Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington & Kate Mara in Apple TV+’s New Psychological Thriller!! Check It Out!!

Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara are raising a toast to friendship in the debut teaser for the trio’s upcoming series, Imperfect Women. Today, as Apple TV continues to roll out the red carpet and show off its upcoming slate of original content, the streamer has officially given us a first look at the highly-anticipated production. Following in the steps of other hits to hail from the streamer like The Last Thing He Told Me and Bad Monkey, the soon-to-release thriller pulls its story from the nail-biting chapters of Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name. Slated for a global two-episode premiere on March 18, the eight-episode miniseries will roll out a fresh installment weekly through April 29.

Friendship, deceit, loyalty, and intrigue lay at the heart of Imperfect Women’s debut teaser. The first few seconds introduce us to the trio at the center of the story — Mary (Moss), Eleanor (Washington), and Nancy (Mara) — who toast to their years-long friendships. But the smiles and sincerity don’t last long, as the trailer almost immediately plummets into chaos. We see the separate lives of each woman and the pain that they all hold onto before cutting to Eleanor and Mary sitting side by side in a police interrogation room, where they’re being questioned about the discovery of a body. While the deceased’s name isn’t revealed, we’d wager that Nancy didn’t make it through the trailer with the rest of her friends and that they’ve just become the prime suspects.

Imperfect Women won’t be one to miss if you’ve found yourself hooked on shows like Big Little Lies and Little Fires Everywhere. In addition to the three powerhouse leading ladies, the series will also feature the incredible talents of Leslie Odom Jr. (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery), Joel Kinnaman (Silent Night), Corey Stoll (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary), Audrey Zahn (Wildcat), Violette Linnz (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Wilson Bethel (All Rise), Jill Wagner (Special Ops: Lioness), Rome Flynn (With Love), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Jackson Kelly (The Pitt), Keith Carradine (Madam Secretary) and Indiana Elle (The Housemaid).

‘Imperfect Women’s Leading Ladies Also Work Behind the Scenes

In addition to starring, both Moss and Washington lend their know-how as executive producers for the Apple TV thriller. With the two award-winning performers backing it, the show has plenty of potential, as Moss previously served as an executive producer behind The Handmaid’s Tale and Shining Girls, with Washington doing the same for Little Fires Everywhere and Unprisoned. The title hails from Annie Weisman (Based on a True Story), who will showrun the first season.

Check out the debut trailer for Imperfect Women above and stream the first two episodes on Apple TV on March 18.
