
Prime Video has shared the official trailer for House of David Season 2, the latest installment of the popular biblical drama series. Following its premiere in October 2025 on the Wonder Project, Season 2 is now scheduled to stream on March 27, 2026.
“The story tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure, David, who eventually becomes the most renowned and celebrated king of Israel,” reads the official synopsis. “Season 2 will follow the aftermath of the battle between David and Goliath and David’s rise to the throne. As he navigates palace politics, his family’s jealousy, and a growing romance, David steps deeper into his destiny and learns what it means to become a great leader.”

What happens in the House of David Season 2 trailer?
The video teases the aftermath of David’s successful fight against Goliath, as he officially joins the House of Saul. Due to his bravery, fighting skills, and kindness, he becomes a favorite among the people and his comrades. This leads him to become a threat to the royal family. The trailer highlights some of the new season’s action-packed sequences.
Lead star Michael Iskander will be reprising his titular role in in the new installment, along with fellow returning cast members Ali Suliman (Jack Ryan) as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer (Angels And Demons) as Queen Ahinoam, Stephen Lang (Avatar: The Way of Water) as Samuel, Indy Lewis (Industry) as Mychal and Yali Topol Margalith (Tattooist of Auschwitz) as Mirab, Ethan Kai as Jonathan, Sam Otto (Snowpiercer) as Eshbaal, Oded Fehr (Star Trek) as Abner, Louis Ferreira (Breaking Bad) as Jesse, and more.
Visionary filmmakers and Wonder Project creative leaders Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn are once again serving as directors, writers, and executive producers for House of the David Season 2. The show is based on an idea by Erwin. Wonder Project, Amazon MGM Studios, Nomadic Pictures, Argonauts, Kingdom Story Company, and Lionsgate Television are producing it. It is also executive produced by Justin Rosenblatt, Trey Callaway, Michael Frislev, Chad Oakes, Ethan Reiff & Cyrus Voris, and Jonathan Walker.
