‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Season 2 Adds Lucy Boynton!!

It’s again a good time to be a Game of Thrones fan! We can only say that after the massive win, that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was for both fans and creators. The Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell-led series sort of healed fans, a feat even the cunning characters and beautiful dragons of House of the Dragon could not accomplish. The new series is set between House of the Dragon and the original Game of Thrones and follows the decline of the Targaryen dynasty.

Dubbed George R.R. Martin’s favorite spin-off by far, the series is an intimate affair, seen through the eyes of the smallfolk of Westeros, as we follow Ser Duncan the Tall (Claffey) and his quick-witted squire Egg (Ansell), who is a Targaryen prince in disguise. Based on The Hedge Knight novella, the first season of the series is a hit with fans as we see Dunk and Egg’s first meeting and the trial of the seven that follows. The series was full of humor, something we haven’t seen in the franchise before, flashbacks, and impactful character moments.

The first season of the six-part series is already done and has seen massive viewership, further earning a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score. The cameras are already rolling on the new season, which will adapt the second novella, The Sworn Sword. There’s reason to be more excited about the season as it will also bring hints of the Blackfyre Rebellion to our screens, which many fans have been asking for. The story follows Dunk and Egg, serving the aging Ser Eustace Osgrey in the Reach. After discovering that a neighbor, Lady Rohanne Webber, has diverted their stream, a dispute arises, forcing Dunk into another conflict.
