Apple TV has quietly built a reputation for delivering slick dramas with star-studded casts, and one of its most bingeable sleeper hits is about to return. The streamer has just unveiled the first trailer for Season 2 of Your Friends & Neighbors, the darkly comedic crime thriller led by Jon Hamm. The new season will premiere globally on April 3, 2026, with the first episode dropping on Apple TV, followed by weekly installments every Friday through June 5.
Season 1 introduced audiences to Andrew Cooper, a seemingly ordinary suburban dad whose life takes a dark turn when he begins stealing from the wealthy homes around him. What starts as a desperate act quickly spirals into a complicated double life full of secrets, lies, and escalating risks, and Season 2 is raising the stakes in a major way. The official synopsis states:
In season two, Andrew Cooper (Hamm) doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk. The second season welcomes Emmy Award-nominee James Marsden as the mysterious new neighbor, alongside returning stars Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan.
The series was created by bestselling author Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner, director, and executive producer. And don’t worry, folks, Apple has already demonstrated confidence in the series’ momentum. Your Friends & Neighbors has already been renewed for Season 3.
How Good Is ‘Your Friends and Neighbors’?
Collider awarded the series 9/10 in a highly positive review, with Nate Richard stating:
Certain moments in Your Friends and Neighbors are almost too on-the-nose in their satire. One particular storyline involves Nick investing in an expensive, Bluetooth-connected toilet, which we later see a character vomit into. Yes, Coop explicitly mentions how overt the metaphor is, but that doesn’t make the moment any less blatant when it plays out. Your Friends and Neighbors is clever, intense, snarky, and carried by Hamm doing what he does best as an actor. It also keeps Apple TV+’s small-screen streak going strong with one of the streamer’s most exciting new shows yet.
